We've been busy working away at some of the campgrounds!
Below are just a few pictures of what we've been up to!
We're ecited to bring life back to these properties and bring happy campers to our properties from all around!
WOW! Check out this beautiful new floor in our Pleasant Creek clubhouse!
Thanks to Wasatch Arborists, some of the overgrown, problimatic trees have been removed. Leaves in the pools....no more!
New wood floors in the clubhouse at Knotty Pine!
Taken after a rain storm at EIR. Rain, snow or shine, it doesn’t matter! We’re working hard every day to get these parks online and ready to go!
Thank you so much to our crew in Coalville!!
Currently, Echo Island is the park that is in need of the most attention.
At first we thought we would be able to do just a clean and paint on the bathrooms, it turned out that both upper and pool restrooms had a lot of problems. Rather than just dress them up and covering up problem areas, we are renovating the bathrooms. One of the first things to go are the community showers, we will be installing individual shower dividers to offer privacy.
DeLoy Bisel and his crew are currently working at Echo Island working the waterline on the middle and lower sections. DeLoy and his team are nothing short of phenomenal and we appreciate what they're doing!
We are also changing up the pool area and adding much needed deck space. The fences that had things feeling closterfobic are gone! You will find a new open feel to the pools! There will be new mechanical systems to keep the hot tubs and pools running. Finally, we are doing a bunch of tree trimming and will be adding gravel to the back section.
Some upcoming improvements will include a new playground, pickleball courts, and a new basketball court. We also have plans to add a new bathroom in the back end of the park, a new fresh coat of paint on the bridges and a distant addition of a clubhouse to Echo Island Ranch.
We have been busy at Knotty Pines also! We are remodeling the clubhouse, opening it up into one main room for hanging out and a game room, plus a new bathroom. There will be a gas log fireplace, TV area, and small tables for cards. The game room will be fun for a game of pool, ping pong or some arcade games!
Added, is a new 90% effect gas furnace and AC, new flooring, lighting, paint, windows and doors.
We will be making some fixes in the pool bathrooms and getting the pool and hot tub in working shape along with installing a new playground for the kids. Eventually we will be adding a pickleball court as well. Gravel will be added to areas of the park that need it along with sealing the asphalt in the entrance all the way down to the pool.
We're really excited to enjoy the new clubhouse at Knotty Pines this summer and sit on the back patio and enjoy the river!
For those who aren't aware the clubhouse and grounds at Pleasant Creek were in fairly rough shape and needed immediate attention. Prior to close, we spent almost $5,000 to clean up the grounds. Since the acquisition, we have redone: the managers residence, the sitting room, added lightning, took out the old kitchen, and replaced the damaged ceiling, replaced the windows upstairs, new flooring throughout the check-in, new store and game area, updated the plumbing and laundry space, added a new check in counter and added new furniture in the sitting area. These properties are keeping us busy and we love it!
